Panattoni Europe has completed a new distribution center for Sony DADC in Panattoni Park Pilsen West. The new distribution center, stretching across 30,000 sqm of logistic space, was conceived speculatively in October last year, but Panattoni Europe Director for Czech Republic and Slovakia Pavel Sovička says the lease contract was signed extremely quickly. In April 2017, Sony was able to take over the first phase of the center from Panattoni. The project’s costs are estimated to be €20m. Sovička also says that the project’s success indicates that spec construction in Pilsen can be efficient and benefit all parties.
