Express Building Systems have secured a $14.66 million construction loan for the development of a self storage facility near North Gables. The funding, provided by Jernigan Capital, will be used to build a five story 86,337 square foot center with 1,139 self-storage units. The company paid $4.9 million for the 2.3 acre site at 4250 Southwest 8 Street. The facility will be managed by CubeSmart, the fourth-largest owner and operator of self-storage facilities in the United States.
