Munich has been ranked the most promising city, according to Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) and Privatbank Berenberg. Leipzig came in second, followed by Frankfurt, Dresden and Berlin. The survey ranked 30 of the country’s largest cities based on their economic performance, demographic trends and location factors such as education, innovation, internationality and accessibility. For the second time, Munich has ranked first based on its economic strength and demographic prognosis.
