EGGER, the chipboard Austrian producer, is planning to build its first production facility in Poland. The investment will go up in Biskupiec, in the Warmian-Masurian province, and will be the most modern of the group’s wood processing facilities. The company will employ around 400 people in its Polish plant, while an additional 600 jobs will be created through business partnerships and subcontracting deals in connection with the project’s development. The estimated cost of the deal is PLN 1bn. CMS is advising EGGER in matters related to construction, labor, corporate law, as well as taxes.
