A multifamily property in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood has been sold to Swedish real estate group Akelius for $60.9 million. The six story, 117 unit asset, located at 321 E. 22nd St., changed hands for under $520.515 per unit. Built in 1968, the mixed-use building features studio and one-bedroom units along with 2,800 square feet of retail space. HFF Managing Directors Jeff Julien and Rob Hinckley and Senior Managing Director Andrew Scandalios brokered the transaction on behalf of the seller, Benedict Realty Group, which bought the asset for $31 million in 2012.
