Savills IM has officially taken over the Bertha Berlin office complex from Becken Development. The company purchased the office project at the end of 2015 when it was still under construction for its Savills IM Real Invest 1 fund. The vendor of the property was a joint venture between Becken Development GmbH and the HanseMerkur insurance group. The property is located at Bertha-Benz-Strasse/Alt-Moabit in Berlin’s Lehrter district. Barkow Leibinger designed the scheme, which offers 17,000 sqm of leasable space. Tenants include Roever Broenner Susat Mazars, ABC Business Center and Jones Lang LaSalle.
