Construction has begun in Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on a new luxury Hotel Hilton. The new hotel is going up in the city’s old town area on land where the Feroelektro once stood, and near the city’s cathederal. The main investor is the Turkish businessman Fatih Kot. As the owner of the company KOL, he bought 65 percent of the shares and paid €1.5m to the municipality. Previously he had bought 35 percent from Zlatko Krainovic.
Having already gotten underway, construction will last for 18 months for the project whose total investment costs will run to €10m. The hotel will have 56 rooms and 5-floor garage.
