SachsenFonds, a company that manages real estate and renewable-energy investments, is changing its name to EURAMCO. The new name is an acronym for European Asset Management Company, reflecting the company’s growing presence on international markets. EURAMCO, which started in 1999 as a subsidiary of Landesbank Sachsen, currently administers close to €4bn in 60 private investment funds. In Europe, it has three offices, including its headquarters in Aschheim near Munich, which handles investment management in Western Europe, in Prague, which handles investment management in Central and South-Eastern Europe, and in Warsaw. The company also operates in Australia, with a branch office in Sydney.

EURAMCO entered the Czech Republic in 2004 and over the past 13 years, it has acted as an investment manager for institutional and private investors who decided to invest their capital in A+ commercial real estate in the Czech Republic and other Central and South-Eastern European countries. In the Czech Republic, the company concluded two transactions on behalf of Lone Star: the sale of Avenir Business Park in Prague 5 to Tristan Capital Partners and Mint Investments and the sale of Karlovarská Business Park to Conseq Realitní and Accolade. EURAMCO was involved in investment transactions across the CEE region totaling €140m this year.
