Angela Crowder to practic real estate law at Venable

The Venable law firm has hired Angela J. Crowder as counsel in the firm’s New York office. Crowder focuses on commercial real estate and finance, drawing on wide-ranging knowledge of real estate transactions. Crowder joins the firm from Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann LLC, in New Orleans, La. She received a J.D. from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, and a B.A. from Louisiana State University. “Angela’s well-rounded experience in virtually every type of real estate transaction, and in representing clients in an in-house and outside counsel role, will add significant depth to our New York-based bench of real estate attorneys,” said Peter Koffler, Chair of the New York Real Estate Group. “Moreover, her experience advising public benefit corporations in tax credit and funding mechanism transactions complements our team in New York, which advises government agencies and local development corporations in similarly complex projects.”
