Hungarian construction output up 27% in June

Construction output in Hungary increased 27.2 percent y-o-y in June, according to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH). Output increased by 26.1 percent in the construction of buildings, while civil engineering work was up by 29.6 percent. Growth in the construction of buildings in June was primarily driven by industrial and warehouse projects and, to a lesser extent, sports facilities and educational facilities. Civil engineering work was boosted by road and railway construction, according to KSH .
