French automotive and aeronautic manufacturer Hutchinson opened a new new car parts plant opened in Ruma, 62 km from Serbia’s capital Belgrade. The opening ceremony was attended by the Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. The new plant, which creates 200 jobs for the local community, will manufacture radiator hoses for carmakers such as Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, Suzuki and Renault.
“Convincing Hutchinson to come to Serbia was no easy task as they had also been considering FYR Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey”, said the Serbian PM.
