The five star hotel Marshal Garden, located on Dorobantilor Street from Capital, owned by Antonescu family, was opened after an investments of €5m-€6m. The new hotel has 63 rooms, a restaurant located on the top floor, a terrace, lobby bar, health center (gym, sauna and massage), and conference rooms.
The Antonescu family also owns a three-star hotel on Batistei Street from Bucharest and a travel agency named Marshal Turism, Ziarul Financiar writes. In 2009, Marshal Hotel with its 30 rooms and a travel agency generated a turnover of RON 53m (€12.3m) and a profit of about RON 267,000 (€62,000), according to data from the Trade Register.
