The website WallStreet feature some of the more interesting development projects that have been taking place this year, picking ones it believes to be interesting in terms of design, or services.
They include Sky Tower, the 137 m building, which became the highest civil construction in Romania, will be fully completed by the end of this year and will become a landmark of the city. The building is owned by Raiffeisen International Property.
Electroputere Parc Craiova, the mall constructed on the Electroputere industrial platform developed by Auchan and K & S Development, is the first shopping center in Romania to be opened in a factory. The developer has created a unique concept until now in Romania that combines specific elements of a production hall with the elements necessary for a modern shopping center.
AFI Palace Cotroceni mall in Bucharest, developed by AFI Europe, is the commercial center with the most complex and spectacular entertainment component. It also is the location of what’s alleged to be the first indoor roller coaster in Eastern Europe, recently opened.
The Czech developer S Group Holding recently started the construction works of an office building in Bucharest. The office building will be a “green” one and will include what the website calls Romania’s first vertical garden.
Palas Iasi, the most expensive housing project outside the capital, includes a shopping center called Palas Mall, a shopping street, a building with 70 apartments, three office buildings, two hotels, underground parking for 2,500 places and a public garden. The investment amounted to €2.5m.
