A1 Telekom Austria Group have increase of 3.4% in Q1 2020 compare to Q1 2019

A1 Telekom Austria Group reported total revenue of €1.13bn for Q1 2020, roughly the same result as it achieved for the first three months of 2019 (€1.09bn) compared to the same period last year. The group’s EBITDA rose 1.7 percent from €374.1m in the first quarter of 2019 to €380.6m this year, driven by higher service revenues in Bulgaria, Belarus and Serbia, which outweighed higher bad debt costs. The company says it has suspended its outlook for 2020 given the difficulty in predicting how the coronavirus will impact its own business and the wider economy.

As of March 31, 2020, A1 Telekom Austria Group reported 21.31 million wireless subscribers, an increase of 1.8 percent compared to the same period last year, mainly driven by 3.4 percent growth in Serbia and Croatia (4.3 percent), while the number of mobile users decreased in in Austria by 4.8 percent.
