The Supervisory Board of Aareal Bank AG has appointed the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr Hermann J. Merkens, as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. Mr Merkens has been a member of the four-person Management Board since 2001. His areas of responsibility comprise Finance, Credit Management and Risk Controlling.
