ABB moves to CTPark Ostrava

ABB has opened its first service center for motors, generators and robots in CTPark Ostrava, Czech Republic. Of the 8,000 sqm of space, 6,000 sqm is production and the rest is office. The developer CTP has invested €6m into the premises. “Our Ostrava center is the only one in Europe and is of global importance, as standards and instruments created here are then used in ABB certified facilities worldwide,” says Hannu Kasi, ABB CEO. The development of CTPark Ostrava started back in 2004 and currently includes 18 buildings, four of which is office.
