Alexander Svetakov, a founder of the Absolute Group, has taken control of the development company Domostroitel from his partner Gleb Galin. Domostroitel has three divisions, Shchelkovo, Orekhovo-Zuevo, and Elektrostal. The group was transformed into a holding company and was taken over completely by Galin in 2010. There are doubts about how effective the integration of its projects into the Absolute group will be, as the two companies produce very different types of developments in terms of cost, location and scale. However, as Domostroitel has its own production facilities, the acquisition could turn out to be beneficial.
