The French hotel group Accor wants to bring its Mgallery chain to the Romanian market in 2013. The company is also hoping to double its presence in the region over the next five to 10 years. Accor currently manages six hotels in Romania and is hoping to expand its operations in Bucharest, Sibiu and Brasov.
Accor is negotiating with local boutique hotel owners and hopes to sign the first partnership deals in 2013, according to Luc Gesvret, the group’s senior vice president of operations.
Accor operates four hotels in Bucharest, one in Constanta and one in Sibiu.
