ADA Group, an Austrian furniture manufacturer, is planning to build a mattress plant in the Hungarian town of Zalaegerszeg. The HUF 500m factory will add 100 jobs to the local labor market and is scheduled to open next summer. Nova Bútor Ltd., which is part of ADA Group, purchased land in the town’s industrial park, according to Deputy Mayor Zoltán Balaicz. The company plans to move its mattress operation from nearby Nova, where it employs 550, to Zalaegerszeg. Mattress production makes up about a third of the company’s €37m annual revenues.
