The American giant Adobe will move its more than 1,000 employees of its Romanian subsidiary to the U Center 2 office building in Bucharest’s Tineretului district, after 16 years spent in the Militari district, according to real estate market sources.
The company will occupy approximately 16,000 sqm of U Center 2, that is, almost half of the building, becoming the largest tenant of the building to be delivered to the market this fall.
Adobe now operates in the Anchor Plaza building on an area of approximately 10,000 sqm rented from Anchor Grup since 2007. The move to U Center represents a 60 percent increase in the Adobe center in Romania and comes in a context where the general trend for corporations is to shrink into smaller premises as working from home becomes the norm, especially among IT companies.
