10 October 2012

Adventure World Warsaw, a massive entertainment center worth €750m, is getting underway in the town of Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Demolition work is set to start early next week. Imtech Polska is in charge of construction, signing a €620m contract with the project’s investor, Las Palm. Adventure World Warsaw is considered the biggest investment in Poland’s Mazowieckie region.
“So far, Las Palm has spent nearly €92m for the design and the acquisition of the land. The financing for the project is provided by the company’s previous shareholders, as well as a consortium of banks, but according to the agreement, their names will be kept confidential,” Kalina Paluch of Las Palm told to the daily Puls Biznesu.
“Before signing the contract with Las Palm, due diligence for the company’s financial performance was carried out,” said Robert Nowak from Imtech Polska. “The decision on signing the agreement shows, that there’s no threat for the investment.”
