AFI Europe Romania is poised to take over four office buildings in Bucharest and Timisoara from NEPI Rockcastle. The deal, currently in the due diligence phase, is worth €309m, making it the largest transaction on the Romaninan real estate market this year, according to Economica.net. AFI is waiting to secure a bank loan for the purchase. The 117,500 sqm portfolio includes Timisoara City Business Center (47,800 sqm), Floreasca Business Park (36,300 sqm), The Lakeview Bucharest (25,600 sqm) and Victoriei Offices (7,800 sqm). AFI already owns AFI Park and AFI Tech Park in Bucharest.
