The developer AFI Europe is launching two new rental projects with the possibility of moving in as early as this May. The first one is AFI Home Karlín located on the corner of Thámova and Pernerova streets. It was created by reconstructing two original buildings from the beginning of the 20th century, which was sensitively complemented by an extension reaching ten floors above ground. Altogether, it comprises 172 fully furnished apartments in layouts ranging from 1+kk to 4+kk. The second residence is an apartment building in the newly emerging multifunctional AFI City district near the Kolbenova metro station in Vysočany. The initial phase of AFI Home Kolbenova offers 313 units in sizes from 1+kk to 4+kk.
“Rental housing offers many advantages, be it flexibility of commitment or quality of services, including maintenance and management of the property. However, in the current era of high interest rates and tighter mortgage conditions, it is also becoming an ideal solution for securing quality and modern housing in an attractive location. Our residences are a good example of this. They offer fully or partly furnished apartments in an elegant style, which are accessible via a ground floor reception with 24-hour security. Underground garages provide hassle-free parking and tenants with higher storage requirements will appreciate our spacious basements,” comments Elena Pisotchi, Sales and Marketing Manager at AFI Europe, adding: “Both residences are located right next to a metro station and close to green spaces. In addition, we offer flexible lease lengths to those interested in living there.”
AFI Home Karlín stands out not only for the high standard of the new apartments, but also for its location. Karlín has long been one of Prague’s most sought-after locations, where history and new buildings blend naturally to create a unique atmosphere. The city centre is just two metro stops or a five-minute drive away, so it offers excellent transport links. It also impresses with a wide range of restaurants, shops and leisure activities in the vicinity: there is the Atlas cinema, the Karlín Barracks complex with sports and cultural activities and the socio-cultural centre Přístav 18600.
The AFI Home Kolbenova apartment building is the first phase of a rental project in the rapidly developing AFI City district. It is being built on a brownfield site in Vysočany and is already getting clear outlines of an attractive location with complete civic amenities and pleasant public space in the form of a large park with a children’s playground, promenade and seating. With 470 freehold apartments and the AFI City 1 office building completed to date, the site is already living its life. In addition, a nursery and restaurant with outdoor seating will be built in the near future.
“The layout of all the rental apartments was chosen with ample storage space in the hallway and bedroom, as well as a practical kitchen with worktop. In collaboration with our partners, the interior furnishings have been deliberately designed in neutral tones that are timeless and easy for everyone to adapt to their own style,” concludes Elena Pisotchi.
