AFI Europe opens model apartment for its luxury Viladomas Project in Prague

31 August 2021

AFI Europe has created a new model apartment for villa houses, which are part of the extensive residential project Tulipa Třebešín in Prague 3 on the border of Malešice and Strašnice. The villas, which include only 25 large flats on three floors, are intended for the higher housing segment compared to the previous phases. This is evident both in the work itself with the space and in the choice of more luxurious materials within the standards. Interior designer Magdalena Hopkins is behind the design of the timelessly furnished model apartment, which was created in a 4 + kk layout. Hopkins has been cooperating with the developer for a long time and has a number of successful implementations in his residential projects.

“The chosen solution shows how the space can be ideally used and its individual parts highlighted – social, work and leisure. We deliberately chose neutral colors, mainly in beige and gray shades in combination with dark wood, which create the necessary contrast. From the point of view of materials, veneer and artificial stone play a major role, which add earthiness to the interior. Metal elements took care of the timelessness. Overall, the model apartment has an elegant and airy impression, while its compactness is completed by appropriately selected accessories in the form of designer lighting, decorative pillows, carpets with a touch of silk, simple but luxurious curtains or a custom painting from Livefordetails. I believe that the designed interior will become an inspiration not only for all those interested in living in Tulipa Třebešín, but also for many others who are just furnishing their new homes,” comments interior designer Magdalena Hopkins from MH Interiors.

“Apartments in villa houses are spatially generous, ranging from 90 to 120 square meters, depending on the type of layout, which ranges from 3 + kk to 4 + kk. At present, we have sold 15 residential units and are negotiating with other interested parties, “says Elena Pisotchi, sales and marketing manager of AFI Europe, adding:” Our goal in the model apartment was to show that various niches, nooks or necessary overlaps of furniture sets can be used to the maximum. – as a storage space, which at the same time forms an interesting design element underlining the entire interior.”

When designing the model apartment, its creators placed great emphasis on the living area, which is a meeting place and people spend most of their time in it. The custom-made corner seating has an untraditionally integrated coffee table and a stool at its end, which can be used variably: as an extended seating on a sofa, a footstool for stretched legs or, in the case of visits, extra seating in the space. The living area is connected to the dining area with kitchen and entrance hall, which is dominated by sliding doors. A small peninsula was created in the kitchen, which not only divides the space optically, but also provides additional work and storage space. It also offers a very popular bar seating area, where children or guests can interact with who is moving in the kitchen.

Each of the villa houses, whose architectural design is based on the Smitka studio, includes a maximum of five apartments. All have their own terrace, cellar, garage parking in the basement and a shared garden.

The villas are part of the extensive residential project Tulipa Třebešín, which includes a public park and a kindergarten for a total of 60 children. The newly emerging district grows near the Třebešín bus stop, about a 5-minute drive from the Želivského A metro station. Nearby is the Olšanská polyclinic and the Atrium Flora shopping center with a wide range of shops and services.
