AFI Properties posted €48m for the first quarter of 2014, up 8 percent from the same period last year. Income generated by AFI Palace Cotroceni, the company’s largest and most important asset, grew by 6.7 percent in the first three months of the year, compared to the first quarter of 2013, when the company’s net income was of €19m. The Bucharest mall is expected to net €29m in 2014. Footfall also grew in Q1, averaging 55,000 visitors per day. AFI Palace Cotroceni is currently 98 percent occupied.
