AG Motors has opened a factory for the production of aluminium bicycle frames as well as a research and development center in Podgrodzie, near Dębica. The automated production line will allow parallel production of six types of frames, meaning it can turn out 1,500 frames per day or 400,000 per year. The factory will also be able to produce 4,000 bicycle wheel rims every day. The cost of the investment is PLN 40m, part of which was provided from European Funds, including funds for the development of the laboratory, equipment and software expenditures.
