Miami-based AHS Development is proposing to build 280 apartments in the Naranja area of southern Miami-Dade County. Located on a 9.3 acre site at the southwest corner of Southwest 256th Street and Southwest 137th Avenue, the new mixed-use development would total 96,279 square feet, with 280 apartments and 2,850 square feet of retail. AHS Development bought the property in 2014 for $2 million. The three-story buildings were designed by Chisholm Architects.
