Numerous international airline carriers are planning to expand their route options to and from Budapest in the coming months. Starting next spring, Eurowings will add more flights from Hamburg, Cologne, Bonn, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart. With already around 250 flights per week, Lufthansa said it would expand its offer between Germany and Budapest. American Airlines, meanwhile, will launch a direct flight from Chicago to Budapest next summer. The Polish airliner LOT announced that it will launch new direct routes from Budapest over the following months, including to Seoul, Sofia, Prague, Belgrade, Stuttgart, Bucharest and Brussels. LOT will also increase its flights to London, New York and Chicago.
