Akamai has expanded the volume of space it leases at Vinci Office Center Krakow in a deal that was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield. Akamai opened its 900 sqm principal European technology centre in Krakow in 2011 before expanding to 1,400 sqm two years later. In 2015, the company was able to conclude an agreement for even more space in the building, before moving again this month to take 7,500 sqm in the building. Akamai Technologies is a leading global IT firm providing content delivery networks and cloud computing services. Erica Chapman, Vice President, Global Real Estate and Workplace Productivity, Akamai, said the Krakow office is the company’s largest in Europe.
