Al Habtoor Group has acquired the Rumbach Centre, an office building located in the historic part of Budapest’s financial district. The UAE-based investor also purchased another office complex in the city that had once been a textile mill. The cost of the deal as well as the size of properties were not disclosed. The conglomerate, based in Dubai, has expanded in recent years with acquisitions in the UK, Austria and the US. Al Habtoor Group bought the Hilton London Wembley and the Hotel Imperial in Vienna this year.
