UK-based car engine components manufacturer Albon plans to build a factory in Sremska Mitrovica, in northwestern Serbia. The factory, spanning almost 3.3 hectares, will be located in the industrial zone of the city.
According to SeeNews, the city authorities PR officer, Biljana Glamocak, declared that the plan is in an initial phase.
Albon is present in Serbia since 2014 and operates two production facilities in the country – one in Ruma and one in Simanovci. The company makes high-volume connecting rod manufacture and bearing cap assemblies at its Serbian manufacturing plants.
