Alcaro Invest has broken ground on a 20,000 sqm warehouse in Kerpen, 30 km south of Cologne. The new warehouse will expand the developer’s 8,600 sqm Logistikpark Wankelstrasse, which is leased to cosmetics manufacturer Estée Lauder. The new investment will offer 19,200 sqm of logistics space and 500 sqm of offices. The complex will be suitable for retail, manufacturers as well as logistics companies. Two tenants have just been secured. Alcaro is looking for one or two more tenants. The total value of the project amounts to €12m. Completion is set for August.
