Alibaba will be building a warehouse in Jenec u Prahy that’s expected to employ as many as 500 people. The internet retail company is having the 68,000 sqm facility built in order to serve the German market. Operations should begin by the end of the year and will reach full capacity next year. Another Chinese company, 4PX Express, which handles logistics for Alibaba, placed an order for the new warehouse, which will be built in VGP Park Jeneč. 4PX Express director Radoslava Pally said it was critical to begin normal operations by the beginning of the Christmas season. He said that a good deal of the work would be automated.
