For a second time in the row, Alicja Kornasiewicz has quit her position at Poland’s second largest lender, Pekao S.A. Following a resignation as chief executive in April 2011, Kornasiewicz was named to head the bank’s supervisory board, only to step down again a year after she has been appointed for the position. Though she refused to comment, the decision is expected to take effect as soon as the general meeting approves it.
