Businessman Alin Niculae is preparing to demolish the former Carrefour Market supermarket in the Drumul Taberei district, and is planning a residential complex with over 400 apartments in its place.
Alin Niculae, together with his partners, the Ioana Carmen and Cornel Petruț Ion family, bought from Carrefour in December 2022 the land of about 14,800 sqm and the supermarket built on the site.
“We have the demolition permit and the land is to be cleared. We are waiting for the real estate market to recover to a more or less acceptable level, because it is a better area than the Plaza, and in a time horizon of 3-5 years we will realize a project here with a higher level,” said the investor’s representatives.
