Allegro hired over 300 people in the first quarter of this year and plans to increase employment by 1.5 thousand people throughout 2021, said president François Nuyts.
“The Allegro team is constantly developing, despite the fact that most of us still work remotely. Over 300 new employees joined Allegro in the first quarter, and throughout 2021 we plan to increase employment by 1.5 thousand people” – said Nuyts..
In the first quarter of 2021, over 300 new employees were employed, increasing the total employment to over 3.5 thousand people.
“I am invariably impressed with the level of commitment in our team and its attitude to innovation. In order to develop our culture of co-ownership and attract the greatest talents from Poland and abroad, for the first time in our history we have allocated an annual share to employees as part of the Allegro Incentive Plan. The program goes deep into the structure of our organization and we are convinced that thanks to this our employees will be able to participate in the success of Allegro – the company they build every day “- added the president.
Allegro is the number 1 trading platform in Poland. Sales are mainly carried out by companies via the Allegro.pl marketplace e-commerce platform. The value of products sold (GMV) on the group’s platform accounted for approx. 3% of the retail market in Poland in 2019. Since October 2016, Allegro belongs to the funds of Cinven, Permira and Mid Europa. The company made its debut on the WSE in October 2020.
