The Allen Morris Company has broken ground on Maitland City Centre a mixed-use project in the Orlando suburb of Maitland, Florida. Once completed, the project will offer approximately 35,000 square feet of rentable retail and restaurant space along with 220 one- and two-bedroom rental apartments. The $68 million scheme is a joint venture between The Allen Morris Company, Lamm & Company Partners and Millenia Partners with financing provided by SunTrust and TD Bank. Over 50 percent of the retail space has been pre-leased to tenants such as Starbucks, Subway, Renaissance Med Spa, and Nava Pets. It’s due for completion in 2018.
“Contrary to what a number of people thought about development in the City of Maitland, we strongly believed there was a void in the submarket given its extraordinary demographics, community passion and loyalty,” said Brian Grandstaff, Principal of Millenia Partners. “We are honored to bring many new restaurants and concepts not only new to Maitland, but also new to the entire Central Florida area.”
