Alternativa has opened a new production plant for polyurethane panels in the Famos Industrial Zone. The value of the new facility is about €7m, with around 10,000 sqm of enclosed space and another 5,000 sqm of open space. It’s a fully automated production facility equipped with machines that make increase its capacity 20-fold. Alternativa is a Sarajevo-based company that opened a sales center in Banja Luka in 2009 and in Belgrade in 2017. It exports two-thirds of its output to Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia and Austria. Alternativa expects to open a new production line for stone wool panels in spring 2018.
