Polish aluminum manufacturer Alumetal opened a HUF 9bn plant at the Komárom industrial park in Budapest. The investment was supported by the Hungarian government. The 24,000 sqm plant will produce aluminum castings for the automotive industry using recycled materials. The Alumetal group reported €277m in revenues in 2014.
