AMM Manufacturing opened its first factory at the MIND industrial park near Kragujevac, central Serbia. The company will produce parts for railway cars at the factory. Construction broke ground in April. MIND covers 150 ha and is located approximately 12 km from the city of Kragujevac. AMM joins Siemens, which employs 600 people at its MIND facility. In September, Siemens started to build a new plant for tram production at the site. Completion is scheduled for July. The Serbian government has invested €10m in the surrounding infrastructure.
