Amorim Cork reported a record profit of €55m in 2015, with sales totaling €604.8m for the year, up 7.9 percent from the previous year. The increase was mainly due to appreciation of the dollar and the good dynamics on the US market, where sales grew 10 percent to €393m. Production increased by 4.6 percent, with a total of 4.2 million units sold, which is another record for the company. Composite cork sales also increased by 19.6 percent
