Amstar enters Polish market

With its recent acquisition of the Złota 44 project in Warsaw, the US investor Amstar has officially debuted on the Polish real estate market. The real estate investment fund together with BBI Development took over the troubled project for €63m. “The recent transaction is a new chapter for us on the Polish market. We hope to continue our cooperation with BBI Development on the Polish market, who we see as an experienced and reliable partner,” said Jason Lucas, CEO of Amstar Global Partners.

Amstar has invested more than €4.9m into various types of the property investments on the global market, collecting a total of 11.6 million sqm of commercial space in its portfolio. The company is active on Turkey’s retail market, but its portfolio also includes projects in Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay and Costa Rica.
