Location and product are key when a customer chooses one residential development over another, Affan Yildirim, General Manager of Anchor Grup, explained at CEDER 2019. His company has an ongoing project of 200 apartments – Pallady Towers, while others are in the planning phase. “We are talking about over 800 apartments to be developed in the future,” he said.
In respect of the recent price adjustments on the local residential market, of 5-10% over the last couple of years, Yildirim thinks this will not affect Anchor Grup’s sales. “We were still selling the InCity apartments during the difficult times of 2009-2011, of course not at the same speed and numbers. We believe it’s better to suffer from the margins and focus on the efficiency of the projects. The competition is tough, but the location and the product are very important. There are thousands of apartments to be delivered on the market, which it’s huge, so it’s better to be ready also by prices,” he explained.
