Anders Danielsson has been appointed president and CEO of Skanska. He will succeed Johan Karlström who previously announced he will step down. Danielsson has worked at Skanska since 1991. He is currently serving as executive vice president and is responsible for Skanska’s construction units in the US as well as infrastructure development. Before joining Skanska’s senior executive team in 2013, Danielsson was president of Skanska Norway where he led two successful turnarounds in construction operations and residential development operations. Prior to that, he served as president for four years of Skanska Sweden.
