The Consumer Protection Commissioner Mures announced the temporary closure of the largest shopping mall in Targu Mures, Shopping City, after inspectors found cockroaches in some of the food storage areas, in the production area and in the hallways.
Following the complaint lodged at the CJPC Mureș headquarters, the commissioners carried out an extensive control action at several economic operators – food service providers in the Shopping City complex in Târgu Mureș. Thus, in four catering establishments, cockroaches were found in the raw material storage and production areas, as well as in adjacent areas.
The entire Shopping City Târgu Mureș complex has been temporarily shut down until the deficiencies are remedied. The total amount of the sanctions imposed is RON 20,000.
