In February, the prices charged for new and old apartments put up for sale increased nationally by 0.8 percent, the average amount demanded at the national level reaching EUR 1,609 per useful square meter at the end of February, compared to EUR 1,596 per square meter at the end of January, but in the Capital the prices decreased as a whole, by 1.1 percent, it is shown in a report made by imobiliare.ro.
Thus, the price for apartments in Bucharest reached an average of EUR 1,609 per useful square meter, compared to EUR 1,627 per square meter last month. Compared to the similar period in 2021, when an apartment cost, on average, EUR 1,395 per square meter, the current price level is 15.3 percent higher.
