Unlike the previous three months, when the prices of new and old apartments remained stable, in August of this year they increased. Thus, the average amount requested by home sellers in Romania increased by 2 percent in August compared to July 2021, from 1,478 to 1,508 EUR per usable sqm.
Among the big cities, the biggest advance was registered in Bucharest. At the opposite pole is Timisoara. The exception to the rule is represented by Cluj-Napoca, where the owners’ claims decreased slightly, amid a decrease in the new residential segment.
