The average price for a new apartment in Budapest hit €1,909 per sqm, up 15 percent y-o-y, according to index.hu. Prices also jumped in bigger regional cities at the beginning of October. The average price per sqm was €1,309 in Kecskemét, €1,233 in Győr and €1,204 in Debrecen. Hungarian apartment prices reported the biggest increase in Europe in the second quarter of 2016, according to the latest figures.
