Apple Hospitality REIT buys Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale

Apple Hospitality REIT has acquired the Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Downtown Las Olas for $18.1 million. The 139,722 square foot hotel located at 250 North Andrews Avenue has 152 rooms and was built in 2002. The property was sold by Miami based hospitality group City Center Hotel Group. The 139,722 square foot Hampton Inn includes a gated parking garage, gym, and meeting rooms ranging in size from 300 square feet to 1,638 square feet. Apple Hospitality owns 173 properties across the U.S., including hotel brands such as the Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard Marriott and Homewood Suites.
