Aptiv is expected to complete its new plant in Leskovac, southern Serbia, in the second half of this year and has already started a hiring campaign to fill more than 2,000 job openings. The new facility will offer 27,000 sqm. Aptiv, which manufactures electrical and electronic equipment for vehicles, is investing around €25m in the project. The Belgrade-based company Gradjevinar is in charge for the construction. Completion is planned for November. Aptiv operates in 45 countries. In Serbia, the company already has a factory in Novi Sad.
